Second Wind Communications, Events and Workshops was created March 2012 by Founders and Executive Directors, Josie Walsh and Gaby Eaton. With the strong components of work ethics, professional experience in Communications and the Hospitality and Event Management industry, combined with the compassion to make a difference in people's lives, Second Wind came to life. The name of the company was created by Josie Walsh.
Josie Walsh is the owner, founder and publisher of the 101 Things to Do With Kids magazine and the Teacher's Field Trip Guide that are produced each year.
Gaby Eaton is the owner and founder of GS Hospitality Connections, specializing in sales, marketing, public relations and event management, and she has opened 4 major chain hotels in Toronto and in Kingston. Hospitality Connections was established in 1998, specializing in event management projects throughout North America and Europe.
Our first event was held back in October 2012, to launch Second Wind Communications, and was a tremendous success, bringing together the Community of Women from the City of Kingston, Business and Military. With the successes of our events and workshops, we continue to strive for excellence in content providing tools for business growth, knowledge, opportunities, and building strong business relationships within our growing network of professional business women. We are embracing Eastern Ontario with Women Mean Business, and hope you will join us to experience something that is far more than just networking.
We look forwarding to meeting you and welcoming you to our future events!
